The "charged" coupe Audi S5 of the second generation celebrated its official premiere on June 2, 2016 - at a "special event" in Ingolstadt (simultaneously with the "civil" two-door), and it was rolled out to the wider public at the end of September - as part of the Paris Motor Show.

After reincarnation, this car not only changed externally and internally, but also became much more powerful and technologically advanced.

The sophisticated forms of the second generation "eski" will not leave anyone indifferent - in the exterior of the two-door the German restraint and sporty elegance harmoniously coexist. The easiest way to identify the car is from the stern, where it is given out by a pseudo-diffuser and a pair of "double-barreled" exhaust system, although there are enough differences from other angles: a radiator grill with double lamellas, "Thor's hammers" in the front bumper, side mirrors of "aluminum" color, original wheels wheels and nameplates "S5".

The overall length of the Audi S5 Coupe is 4692 mm, its width is 1846 mm, and its height does not exceed 1368 mm. The front and rear axles of the two-door have been removed by 2765 mm.

Inside, the "charged" version of the coupe is recognizable thanks to the flattened steering wheel, abundant use of Alcantara, leather and aluminum, S5 logos and sports seats "sporting" a diamond pattern.

There are no other differences in the car's interior - “family” design, high-class level of performance, strictly four-seater layout.

The two-door cargo compartment holds 465 liters.

Specifications. The main "highlight" of the Audi S5 Coupe is under the hood - the two-door is driven by a 3.0-liter petrol "six" with a V-shaped structure, an aluminum block, direct injection, a two-flow turbocharger and variable valve timing. The engine generates 354 horsepower at 5400-6400 rpm and 500 Nm of maximum potential at 1370-4500 rpm, and is equipped with an "automatic" ZF with eight ranges and a quattro all-wheel drive system with a Torsen center differential (normally the thrust between the axles is "sawed" in a ratio of 40:60 towards the rear).

The second generation coupe demonstrates excellent performance in road disciplines: from the start to 100 km / h, the car “catapults” after 4.7 seconds, and continues its “race” up to 250 km / h. For every "hundred" of the way, "Esca" consumes no more than 7.3 liters of gasoline in mixed mode.

In technical terms, the Audi S5 Coupe of the second generation differs from the "civilian" two-door only with a reconfigured chassis and more efficient brakes (six-piston calipers and 355 mm discs are installed in front).
In terms of other characteristics, the models are identical - the MLB evo platform, a double-lever on the front and a multi-link on the rear axle, an electromechanical amplifier with a variable ratio and disc brakes with circular ventilation.

Options and prices. In Russian dealerships, the second-generation Audi S5 coupe, as of 2018, is exhibited at a price of 4,170,000 rubles.

By default, the car is equipped with fully LED optics, three-zone climate control, six airbags, 18-inch wheels of a unique design, sports front seats with electrically adjustable and heating, a multimedia complex, an audio system with ten speakers, an assistant to prevent spontaneous movement, "cruise", parking sensors "In a circle" and the darkness of other modern "chips".

In addition, a wide range of additional options is provided for the two-door, among which are Audi Matrix LED headlights, a virtual instrument cluster, a panoramic roof, a sports cross-axle differential on the rear axle, a more advanced infotainment center and much more.
